Romance Awaits

Cha Cha music is filled with the conga beats that give it the “cha cha” pattern. Nestled within those beats are wild arrangements of piano, guitar, bass and percussion. Then, the melodies of the flutes and horns fill our bodies with the passion to get up and dance. Cha Cha brings romance, sensuality and spacious to the dance floor and uses the patterns you’ve come to know and love in Salsa. Most Salsa Socials include a few Cha Chas. Our workshop will give you the opportunity to spend more time on the dance floor and bring versatility to your dance repertoire. Learning Cha Cha will tremendously strengthen your Salsa on 1 and Salsa on 2 foundation. The more dances you feel confident with, the more expansive your dance experience becomes on the dance floor and in your heart.

Please note, our Cha Cha Workshop is taught on 2 and is considered ‘street style’ or ‘club style’ or ‘latin style’. It is NOT ballroom Cha Cha. You will benefit tremendously from having a beginner level Salsa On 2 foundation.

About Piotrek & Krystal

Piotrek & Krystal have been teaching together live classes year round in Portsmouth NH and Newburyport MA for 5 years. They came together with a distinct desire for the dance to be a modality for self exploration, growth and healing. Piotrek and Krystal's students have raved for years about their unique and effective style of teaching. They combine the development of proper technique with the spirit of the dance. This way of teaching engages all parts of the body: physical, mental, emotional and spiritual, which leads to dancing that is extremely rich.

• How long do I have to complete the course?

  • You will have lifetime access to the course. All of the materials are self paced, so you can delight yourself with each lesson by taking as much time as you desire.

• What happens when I click 'Buy Now'?

  • You are prompted to create a login with your email address and password. You will then be asked to check out securely through Memberspace, our secure online member portal. After that, you can access the class immediately. Log in anytime via the navigation bar at the bottom right corner of our website, using the green ‘Log In’ Button.

• Can I download the lessons?

  • Absolutely! All the video lessons and audio tracks are available to download right from the course homepage. You can download them at your leisure. We ask that you use the video lessons and audio only for personal use.

• How much dance experience do I need to benefit from this course?

  • You should be confident in dancing the Salsa On 2 Basic Cable (right turn, hesitation left, cross body lead, inside turn, outside turn, right right) and Basic Resistance (shoulder to shoulder and around the world). Dancers who have more experience dancing Salsa On 1 will also benefit from this introduction to Cha Cha and should easily began to translate more advanced choreography in the new count.
