  • Stretching: Perform stretches with proper form and technique to avoid strains and sprains.

  • Rest and Recovery: Allow sufficient time for rest and recovery to prevent overuse injuries.

Infections and Illness

  • Dancers who are sick or have contagious conditions should stay home to prevent the spread of illnesses to others.

  • Cover your mouth and nose when sneezing or coughing, and dispose of used tissues properly.

Shoe and Dance Wear Care

  • Regularly clean and maintain dance shoes to extend their lifespan and prevent odor.

  • Keep dance clothing clean and properly stored to maintain their appearance and hygiene.

Personal Items

  • Avoid sharing personal items like towels, water bottles, or hairbrushes with others.

Good hygiene is not only essential for the health and well-being of individual dancers but also for the overall success and enjoyment of the partners you dance with and the dance community as a whole.
